I might have found a good location for one in Manchester.
If anyone would like attend, please post!!
I was thinking of mid Sept. on a weekend. How does this work for everyone??
We have some space at our place for out-of-staters', and I have a trailer for any brake-downs.

Yes, that would be this side of the world.
Anyone have a specific date in mind?

I don't know if this would impact a get together on "that" side of the world but... Pintony has the 25th - 27th booked in Springfield, IL for the Mother Road Show. he would like to consider it the central pinto meet.... some from California Pinto people are planning to fly out and I am planning for it as well... like I said... may not impact the date on that side but just something to consider....

From DC to there, and depending on what route you take you will be as little as 4 miles or as far as 30 miles as you go past.
Please keep me posted!!

A motor home and a boat is not the ideal sightseeing vehicle to use in downtown D C. Since it was Obamas birthday I offered him a cruzin wagon for his family but he said he is happy with his rides. Fred At Patapsco State Park in Maryland now.

I have had some feedback on this outside of this thread.
It looks like its narrowed down to one of these 3 days (weekends) in Sept.: 12/13 or Sat the 26th, depending if Sat or Sun would be better.
Anyone with a specific date/day they would prefer?? Time? Afternoon or evening?
I need to get a date/time set and secure the location. This will be a free event, but please buy at least a little food when you are there.
More details on the location as soon as we can get the date figured out.
THANKS!
ADDED: I have a truck and trailer if there are any break-downs: anywhere in CT for the cost of gas and food.
Bill

We have a date and place, now we just need a time.
The location will be HartFord Road Pizza in Manchester CT, and it will be on Sept 12 2009. The rain date will be 3 weeks from that date.
Now we need to know what time will work. The place opens at 11am, so we are good for a start time almost anytime from that until 6pm.
PLEASE POST HERE with your thoughts.

Thanx for all of your efforts Bill,
I shall try to bring my new 03 Grand Marquis if nothing else. The 99 Crown Vic Police Crusier had too many electrical problems for the brain dead to decipher.
The truck is back in operating condition and all I have is a few little gee gaws to do here and there.
My neighbor says he can hear my 72 Runabout crying at night for all of the neglect on my part. All I need to do now is put everything back together.
Tomorrow will be the last day of my six month probation at E.B. Hope to see some overtime, ( and some more work come into the shipyard ! ), so I don't get laid off before one year at my new job ! ! !
How about a 4.6 in my 71 Sedan on my back porch ? ? ? Food for thought or what ?
Will try my best to be there.
