Anybody on here autocrossing a Pinto/Bobcat? I always like to know what other Pinto/Bobcat owners are doing to their autocross car. Thanks.

Bill! Have you ever seen the 2.3 Ranger pass side alternator mount used on a Pinto. I've seen pictures of a pass side mount for Merkurs, but not with a v-belt. The Merkur mount looked "factory" to me. Would make getting to the dist much easyer. What have you been doing with/to your Bobcat?

I have seen at least one in a Pinto, but I don't remember if it was a serp. or V belt set up.  It looks to clear the 'frame' fine.

I have the 'Pinto' non P/S one on the Bobcat as well as my yellow car.   I agree it would make access easier, but even Connie's with P/S is better than the Fox brackets for clearence.

Found the alternator relocation mount. Its the a/c mount for a Merkur. Lets you use a single v belt too. Really looks much better over on the pass side.
