just making sure, if a mustang II rear from 1974-1978 and  i believe its a 8 inch , will it bolt right in a 1973 pinto? and what should i pay for just the rear? thanks, AL... Huh

why is it when i told people i was looking for a pinto to buy they either said they havient seen one of those in years or just started laughing!  lol

I have never seen any differences between any year Pinto rears, or Mustang II rears that would lead me to believe that there would be a problem with interchanes.

Price: Supply and demand.  What are you willing to pay, what is the seller willing to sell it for?  Rears with the "good" gear ratios (3.40, 3.55, and up) tend to demand a higher price.

"Lately" I have seen 8" rears for these cars selling over $100. depending on the gears/condition, and the ones with the better ratios well over $200.
