The Site

My goal for this site is to give the owners and enthusiasts of Pintos & Bobcats in Connecticut (and anywhere else too) a place to be in contact, buy & sell, get help, exchange ideas, and just 'hang out.' This site is not a ‘branch’, or ‘sub-site’ of any other site, it’s just ONE part of the entire ‘Pinto community’. I look forward to seeing as many different Pinto ‘clubs’ and sites out there as there are for other cars.

The members here, and I, invite ALL Ford Pinto & Mercury Bobcat owners AND enthusiasts to join us if they choose.

These cars have been a great hobby for my wife and I, and we have met lots of great ‘Pinto and Bobcat people’ from all over the U.S. and beyond; WELCOME.

We do request that this site remain in a “P.G.” style/format; please keep this in mind when posting. Anything not in this format, or anything posted to enrage or ‘attack’ others will be removed without notice and other actions if needed. I really don’t expect to ever have to deal with this. Thank you.

The swap meet area is free to all members. Please follow the rules for posting in that area (located in a sticky thread in that section). The good AND the bad part is that non-members can view your posts; this opens your market up to them, but they can not contact you or get your email from the site unless you post it in the thread. You may enter as much of your contact information as you like, but this is at your own risk.

One more request: please put your location somewhere on your profile or signature, at least your state.

ADDED: Just a note to SPAMMERS: If you care to look there are none on the site. Don't think to yourself “Great, I will be the first or only one on this site”; you won't. I take great pleasure in banning/blocking/deleting them (normally with an evil laugh when I do it). With this, some people might be banned by accident and for that I am sorry. If for some reason you are a REAL PERSON and are not able to register or view parts of this site you can have someone you know join and have them get in contact with me. I will get you here.
