I have a 1976 Bobcat wagon It is the  first  "pinto or Bobcat " I have owned  It can be seen here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPUX_FB6M-0   thanks to cookieboy.   We have had it just over 3 years It has about 90,000 miles on it and is in  deasent shape the vinal decal is still original. I did have to cap the dash as it was very bad. and updated the rims to the factory white slots. at some point it will need paint as it is getting thin in a few spots. but it is 30 + years old.  After getting  Bob  and cleaning the interior i found a Florida registration and some repair  slips from the south  so he did live  down south for part if his life. We found  Bob on eBay about 50 miles from  us and were told it was used  as the winter driver  to and from  and in Florida

it's a rare beast! would be the perfect match to yours! I know of 3 people who had that idea when they saw it and thought of you. I was one, Pintony and Pintopower both thought the same thing...

Hi Phil!

Yes the 76 squire H/B is a rare car.  The same guys that restored and did most of the V8 converson of a 77 sedan that I bought (Glen and George) also restored this car (and a couple others).  Anyway, the cars needed to be sold, and I bought the V8 car and a guy named Tod bought the Squire. After meeting Tod (great guy), we came to the agreement that I should have bought the Squire and he should have taken the V8 car; oh well..., but I still offered to help him with a V8 swap into the Squire if he wanted. Also, Tod had a 71 H/B, but decided to sell it and concentrate on the 76 (Pintony told me about the listing on C/L).  You can see the 71 on my trailer in the backround.
